  1. Great interview on Sky – I only saw it on your webpage as we don’t normally watch Sky (though I was interviewed by Adam Boulton myself in the UK in 2004). Let’s see what happens tonight!

  2. Dear Susan,
Thank you so much for your incisive analysis. Your grandfather would be proud of you. One of the things that I will always remember is a plaque in the County of Los Angeles Hall of Administration with one of “Ike’s” most venerable sayings about the Military-Industrial complex. “Guys” like him and Harry Truman are sorely missed. All the best to you for your courage and common sense.

  3. So nice that he gave you more chance to answer the questions than Chris did. Well done, as always.

  4. AS ALWAYS, WELL SAID SUSAN! A CLOSE ELECTION, BUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL VERY LIKELY GO TO BED TONITE KNOWING WE HAVE CHOSEN TO CONTINUE THE PROGRESS OF THE LAST 4 YEARS WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA, RATHER THAN TURN THE CLOCK BACK. INDEED, JUST AS IKE HAD TO FIGHT OFF THE REACTIONARY WING OF THE PARTY IN 1952 THE COUNTRY NEEDS TO FOLLOW A MODERATE PATH ONCE AGAIN!!

  5. Wonderful interview Susan! I take being an Independent seriously too! Americans have indeed forgotten how frightening it was 4 years ago… Selective amnesia is a serious problem where our Country is concerned. (and YES, a CEO is completely different than being President of the U.S.)Thank you as always Susan!

  6. So well put Susan. I particularly appreciated your “BIG TENT” perspective, particularly as it related to Ikes’s 1)defense $ spending scrutiny, 2) social progressive posture in the 20th century!! Even Reagan(reverred by conservatives @ the “2nd coming of Republican Christhood” when he was actually the beginning of THE END for the American middle-class!!) would be an orphaned political afterthought in the face of contemporary Tea Party
    craziness.
